I Want It!
I wrote, storyboarded and animated this short film in early 2016. It's a new twist on the old classic about the lamp and the ball. It was shown at the ASIFA-SF holiday party and at the Cañada College student film festival.
Three Ball Types: Obstacle Course
This is a timing and weight exercise featuring heavy, bouncy and weightless objects moving through space and interacting.
Ball with a tail chases a laser pointer
This exercise inspired by cats demonstrates follow-through and timing.
Beefy waiter walk-across
This bit of character animation is a true walk across a floor, not simply a translated in-place walk cycle.
"I Didn't Do It!"
This is a single-character lip-sync animation, based on a clip from a Teri Hatcher movie.
"There is nothing the matter with my eye!"
This is a two-person dialogue scene from the old-time radio drama Dark Victory.
Walking Hotdog with a Butt
And now, the pièce de résistance: a 2D walk cycle of a hotdog with a butt done in Flash. Notice the exaggeration of the movement, the stretch, and the profound existential meditation on hotdogs and butts that uplifts us all.
